The purpose of BPA is to inform students about business and technology. The uses of the skills learned through BPA are numerous and should not be missed. BPA has a little bit of everything for everyone and there are many chances to show off you skills in our club.

Objectives:
To increase knowledge of French speaking countries. To engage students in cultural activities. To promote cultural contacts between PBHS students and native French speakers.

To increase exposure to the French language and culture beyond the classroom.
Production of the twice annual Literary Magazine for PBHS.
Objectives:
To encourage students to share their writing and to have their work published and to provide opportunities for the staff to edit, organize, publish and produce our literary magazine.
To inspire and recognize studetns who have shown an outstanding ability in art.
Objectives:
NAHS strives to aid members in working towards the attainment of the highest standards in art, both visual and performing and to bring art eduaction to the attention of the school and community.

"B" average maintained in all art courses and teacher recommendation, $3.00 yearly membership dues.

The National Honor Society strives to create an enthusiasm for academic scholarship, render service to the surrounding community, promote leadership, nourish character development, and advance the work of the National Honor Society among all members.
Objectives:
To participate in worthwhile community service projects while promoting academic achievement and the importance of knowledge and leadership in the lives of students.

The emphasis of the club is to provide periodic programming challenges, work on group programming challenges, and anything else the club members decide they want to do.

The club strives to expose members to the engineering process involved in producing any physical product. The club functions as a development team with the end result being a competitive robot that will meet specifications and successfully perform the required task.
Objectives:
Develop the planning, mechanical, electrical and electronic skills necessary to overcome the typical manufacturing stages to build a remote controlled robot. To engage students in the excitement that technical careers provide.
Benefits:
Members learn to interpret construction constraints, read blueprints, and conceptualize the mechanical structures involved in robot manufacture.
Most robot competitions place limits on the material, energy source, size, and weight of the robot. Members must design a robot to meet these specifications. The robots typically feature combinations of the five basic machines to provide the functional structure. Motors and servos provide the locomotion with a 12 volt battery system. A remote is used to control the system and provide functional operation.

The club meets Wednesday and Thursday after school in Mr. Marchand’s room.
The purpose of this club is to increase the student body’s awareness of the results of destructive decisions and provide the education students will need to make informed decisions.
Objectives:
Members of the SADD / Peer Counseling Club make themselves available to be mentors to students needing academic assistance, they tutor at the local Elementary School, and they take part in several campaigns during the year that are geared at giving back to the school and to the community.
Benefits:
Because they are in a position to help the student body, members of the SADD/ Peer Counseling receive the satisfaction of knowing that they have contributed to strengthening the student body.
We, the students of PBHS, in order to develop democratic ideals, to represent our diverse student body, teach respect, to maintain high standards of cooperation, loyalty and school spirit, to prepare for adult life and citizenship, to encourage the participation of the student body in school activities, have established this student association and constitution.
Objectives:
1- To promote harmonious relations between the Faculty, Staff, the Student Body, and Alumni.
2- To provide a forum of government to represent the Pompano Beach High School Student Body.
3- To improve the general welfare of Pompano Beach High School.
4- To coordinate activities and services beneficial to the Faculty, Staff, Students, and Alumni at Pompano Beach High School.
5- To involve the Community in school activities.
6- To involve and inform the media about school activities.
