Numerous sports are available to challenge and provide an outlet for interested students. Joining a sport is a terrific way to meet new friends and enhance your high school years. In order for a student to be eligible to participate in an extracurricular activity or athletics, they:

  • Must be in attendance for at least half of the school day in order to participate in any extracurricular activity or athletic event
  • Must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0 on the 4.0 scale each semester
  • Must also be passing at least 3 out of 4 classes each grading period

NCAA Eligibility: All prospective student-athletes who want to play in NCAA Division I or II intercollegiate athletics must meet the NCAA Eligibility test score, grade point average, and core course requirements. Open entry/open exit classes do not count. Be sure to ask your coach and guidance counselor about these requirements or contact the NCAA Clearinghouse.

To try out for any sport, students need to present their certified birth certificate, a copy of their insurance card, parent permission form, physical form, a signed copy of the sportsmanship policy, U 18 Medical Release and Consent For Treatment.

You must fill out and turn in the following forms with your parent's and physician's signature:
