Senior Class - Calendar

The Class of 2012 is a collection of dynamic individuals who strive for excellence as they prepare for their post secondary educational pursuits. They are learning in unique and creative ways from talented faculty members and diverse and interesting peers. On this journey, they are leaving a legacy of service, spirit, and success. They may be seen on campus and in the community giving unselfishly in many different capacities: picking up trash from canals, designing websites, tutoring in elementary and middle schools, taking inventory at the fire department, feeding the homeless at soup kitchens, designing international gardens, instructing children to sail, donating blood for ill classmates. Seniors currently have a huge lead in the collection of Class War Points as they demonstrate their class pride: wearing their senior shirts and hoodies, participation in spirit days, raising the gymnasium’s roof during pep rallies, supporting their peers in athletic and extracurricular events. There is an expectation of success as students demonstrate their abilities and talents : numerous students scattered across the globe as participants in in the foreign exchange program, an above average percentage of scholars enrolled in advanced placement and dual enrolled courses, choral students invited to perform at Epcot Center, and athletes performing beyond expectations. This legacy of service, spirit, and success will remain at Pompano Beach High School when the members of the Class of 2012 graduate on June 5th, 2012.
