There have been all-county players, a long list of college athletes, Brian Piccolo Award nominees, and even current and former NFL players here at PBHS throughout the years, but underlying all of the many accolades is a football family that does not rely on wins and losses as the final indicator of excellence. Tornado football is much more than hardworking athletes and coaches taking the field to play a game each week; it is a family. The fans, alumni, and student-athletes are all dedicated to excellence through integrity, trust, respect, teamwork and loyalty. It is this commitment on and off the field that makes Pompano football unique and assures that the rich tradition of the Tornadoes will keep growing for years to come.

Pompano Beach student-athletes are an integral part of their community. In addition to hosting several events on campus, such as youth football camps and FCA Huddle meetings, the football team outreach efforts continue with its highly successful events that include visiting local nursing homes and partnering with American Cancer Society (ACS) to promote local breast cancer awareness drives during football games.
